Store Rules and Code of Conduct

General Rules
  • Use your indoor voice. Please do not scream, yell or make excessive loud noise. Please wear headsets if you choose to listen to music while gaming.
  • During play and in discussion please be respectful and polite.
  • Be respectful of people. We do not abide racism, religious discrimination, sexism, purposeful misgendering, ableism, and ageism ect.
  • Please pick up after yourself and leave the game space as clean and neat as you found it.
  • Please don?t meander about the sales floor of the store with your backpack, minis case or any other large bag or container. When playing in the game space, please leave your gaming gear at your table , you are required to keep your things out of the walkways.
  • Selling product or Cards at Store
    • Acceptable Trading cards for cards at a mutually agreed value
    • Unacceptable: Pressuring someone for a trade
      • No means No
      • If you are caught attempting to sell cards in-store, you will be asked to leave(this means you forfeit any remaining rounds and prizes in any tournaments as well)
    • Unacceptable: Trading Cards for money (sellin)
      • This includes agreeing on a price in-store and going outside to complete the exchange
      • If you are caught attempting to sell cards in-store, you will be asked to leave(this means you forfeit any remaining rounds and prizes in any tournaments as well)
Harassment and other prohibited behavior
  • Harassment, and any behavior that disrupts another person?s experience, are prohibited. Disallowed behavior includes unwanted physical contact, threats, heckling or jeering, or any other form of rude, offensive, or disruptive behavior. This policy applies regardless of whether the behavior is aimed at a specific person.
  • If another person ?indicates they no longer wish to speak to or interact with you, you must immediately cease your conversation and interaction with them, and you may not follow them to another area.

If you experience harassment or other unwanted behavior, please visit Speak to a Store Employee to discuss or report an incident or concern. Other prohibited behavior

  • Consumption of alcohol , consumption of illegal drugs, smoking or use of e-cigarettes, or intoxication
  • Lewd conduct
  • Unsafe behavior, including real or play fighting
  • Selling or soliciting items or services
  • Unauthorized Distribution of flyers or literature

The following items are prohibited:

  • Functional firearms or ammunition (no exception for concealed carry)
  • Functioning projectile weapons, devices, toys, including items meant to be thrown; or paddles
  • Swords and props which contain live steel (sharp enough to cut)
  • Any prop firearm
  • Any signage or clothing containing profanity, explicit or graphic language, slurs, insults, threats, solicitations, vulgar, obscene, graphic, or sexually themed art
  • Outside Food or Drinks except refillable water bottles

Misc Restrictions:

  • Rune and and Board prohibits all animals in our Store. This includes therapy or anxiety pets. Only animals trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability, through a specific action, are allowed.
Photography restrictions
  • Be polite with your camera and how you conduct your photography or video recording. Photography and video recording are generally permitted. However:

    • It is strictly prohibited to take a photo of any person without consent.
    • It is also prohibited to take a photo if a reasonable person would know the subject(s) would probably not want to be photographed under the circumstances.
Violations
  • Any violation of this code of conduct or illegal activity may be handled by a warning, temporarily asked to leave the store, banning from certain events or permanent banning from Premises.
  • Allowable activity at the store is at our sole discretion. If a staff member asks you to stop doing something, remove an item, or leave an area, then it has the weight of this code of conduct, even if it?s not printed in this code of conduct.

Nick and Sadie are both longtime gamers. Sadie has been playing various editions of D&D for over 30 years, as well as many other games.

Nick has been playing board and card games for well over 30 years, starting with the classics (Monopoly, Life, Uno, Pinochle) and later found Magic:the Gathering, various RPGs and many other euro games.
