Starting in May our daily event schedule is going to look a little different:

The biggest changes are the additions of Netrunner on Tuesdays, Blood Bowl on Wednesdays, and Warhammer: The Old World on Saturdays. Eventually, Blood Bowl will become a league once I (Nick) figure out how best to run it. For now, we will have open play to generate interest. We also decided to move Warhammer: The Horus Heresy to Thursday evenings.

The other big change that we’ve recently made is requiring a $10 minimum purchase per person for use of tables. This is only for events that do not have an entry fee*, or for those who would like to use tables for their own private group. Our reason for this is simple – all of our costs are increasing (rent, utlities, labor, etc.), and margins on many products are shrinking. We chose the minimum purchase instead of a table fee because we want to make sure everyone is receiving something of value in return for their hard-earned money. Along with this, we will also be bringing back a pre-Covid program: stamp cards. For every $50 you spend you will receive a stamp card that is good for 6 game sessions (that’s like getting 1 for free!). In addition, when you complete a card, you will be entered into a monthly drawing for assorted prizes. If, for some reason, you can’t find something you want to buy, you can also add a $10 credit to your account for a future purchase.

*The exceptions to this are Magic Commander on Thursdays and Saturdays, and Poekmon on Saturday, which support themselves through sales of Magic singles and sealed product.
